ST. CLOUD -- The Central Minnesota Christian Sportsmen are holding their annual wild game dinner tonight (Saturday) at the Calvary Community Church.

The dinner is prepared by sportsmen from churches all over the St. Cloud area.  Phil Rockensock and Noel Dalton of the Central Minnesota Christian Sportsmen helped to make the dinner possible.

Rockensock says the goal of the dinner is to bring people together for a great time.

Dalton says they never really know what to expect in terms of turnout, as the previous 10-plus years have seen varying levels of attendance.

The dinner will feature common cuisine such as pork and venison, but Rockensock says there are some unique dishes being served up this year.

The dinner is free to the public, but Dalton says there will be a silent auction and free-will donations in order to fund itself.

Rockensock and Dalton say being a part of the club and putting on the dinner are fun opportunities to build a rapport with other local sportsmen.

The wild game dinner is free and open to all who attend regardless of religious affiliation and starts at 6:30 p.m. at 1200 Roosevelt Road in St. Cloud.
