Chamber Announces Business Awards
ST. CLOUD — Four St. Cloud businessmen are being recognized for their efforts by the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce.
The 2013 St. Cloud Area Small Business Award winners have been announced, with little surprise.
The Small Business Owner of the Year goes to Netgain Owner Scott Warzecha. Netgain started out as a one man operation that now employs 70, with more plans to expand this year.
Bob Strack of Strack Companies won the Entrepreneurial Success Award. Strack took over his family business in 1982 with sales of $400-thousand. Today the company has about $50 million in revenue.
Lee Hanson and Gray Plant Mooty each are receiving the Business Central Mark of Excellence Small Business Advocate of the Year Award. Hanson has been active in the Boys & Girls Club, Boy Scouts, the Initiative Foundation and a founding partner of Falcon National Bank.
The Awards will officially be handed out at the Chamber’s Business Awards Luncheon on May 2nd.
