Wild Soar Past Sabres Thursday In Lopsided Win

The Minnesota Wild found themselves on the other side of a blowout Thursday when they topped the Sabres 7-0 in Buffalo. The win pushes the Wild back to even on the season with a record of 19-19-5.

The Tech Tigers boys basketball team fell to Alexandria Thursday night by a 62-57 final score at Tech High School. The Tigers trailed 29-19 at the half before making a run in the early stages of the second half.

Tigers Fall to Alexandria Thursday In Boys Basketball

 

The St. Cloud Tech Tigers fell to the Alexandria Cardinals 62-57, in Men's Basketball Thursday evening. The Cardinals got off to a quick start and lead the Tech Tigers 29-19 at halftime.  Jake Mussman lead the Tigers with 9 points and Tyler Owen lead the Cardinals with 7 points in the first half.

Former Twin Anthony Swarzak Agrees to Minor League Deal with Indians

Former Minnesota Twins right-hander Anthony Swarzak has agreed to a minor league contract with the Cleveland Indians. The 29-year-old free agent spent his third consecutive season with the Twins in 2014, going 3-2 with a 4.60 ERA in four starts and 46 relief appearances.

Pelicans Sign St. Cloud Native Nate Wolters

The New Orleans Pelicans have signed point guard Nate Wolters to a 10-day contract. The signing, announced Wednesday, comes as starting point guard Jrue Holiday deals with a right ankle injury that will sideline him for Wednesday night's game in Detroit.
