Radisson Suspends Minnesota Vikings Sponsorship

The Radisson hotel chain is suspending its sponsorship of the Minnesota Vikings after star running back Adrian Peterson was charged with child abuse in Texas. In a statement Monday, Minnetonka-based Radisson said it "takes this matter very seriously particularly in light of our long-standing commitment to the protection of children."

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson's first court appearance in Texas on a child abuse charge has been delayed until October.Peterson has been indicted on a charge of reckless or negligent injury to a child and faces up to two years in prison and a $10,000 fine if found guilty.
