WAITE PARK -- A St. Joseph man wasn't hurt after allegedly falling asleep and crashing his vehicle into a Waite Park business Monday night.

Police say 52-year-old Tim Cooney told them he was traveling northbound on 28th Avenue approaching County Road 138, when he fell asleep, crossed southbound traffic, jumped the curb and ran into the Traut Wells building.

About half the vehicle entered the building causing damage to both the exterior and interior.

The crash happened at about 9:20 p.m.  It remains under investigation.
