UPDATE: 15-Year Old Dies in Deadly Car Crash in Sauk Rapids

SAUK RAPIDS - The Benton County Sheriff's Department now says a 15-year-old boy involved in a car crash near Sauk Rapids-Rice High School on Monday afternoon has died.

Benton County Sheriff Brad Bennett says 41 year-old Rukia Hussein of Hopkins was killed instantly in the crash.

A 15-year-old boy, Yasin Hussein of Hopkins, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.  He died today (Tuesday) from his injuries.  He was a student at the school.
A 50 year-old woman, Asma Noor of St. Cloud, were taken to St. Cloud Hospital.  Noor has non life-threatening injuries.

The second vehicle was a pick-up driven by 39-year-old Scott Radzak of Sauk Rapids.  He suffered minor injuries.

The Sheriff's Department says Radzak was heading north on County Road 1, when Rukia Hussein's vehicle stopped at the stop sign on Osauka Road Northeast, Hussein's vehicle then pulled out in front of the Radzak's vehicle.
