Buffalo Man Seriously Hurt in Hwy 55 Crash

BUFFALO -- A Buffalo man was seriously hurt in a head-on crash on Highway 55 this (Tuesday) morning.

The State Patrol says it happened in Wright County east of Crofoot Avenue Northwest at about 10:50 a.m.

The patrol says 28-year-old Darrin Christensen was westbound on Highway 55 when he crossed the center line and struck an eastbound car head-on. Christensen was taken to Buffalo Hospital, then airlifted to the North Memorial Medical Center.

The driver of the other car, 23-year-old Andrew Fobbe of Annandale suffered non-life threatening injuries.
