The Waterloo Bucks snapped the St. Cloud Rox 8-game winning streak with a 8-6 win over the Rox on Friday night.  The Rox doesn’t kill the Rox playoff chances because Willmar also lost 6-0 to Mankato.  Waterloo took a 5-3 lead in the 6th inning and extended the lead to 8-3.  Nick Tanielu had 2 hits and 2 RBIs and Boo Vazquez was 2-4 with a run scored for the Rox.

Billy Soule allowed 10 hits and 8 runs (7 earned) in 6 1/3 innings to take the loss.  The Rox have 2 games remaining and are 1/2 game back of Willmar for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.  St. Cloud will play at Rochester at 7:05 tonight, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
