Bromenschenkel Looking to Move from Stearns County Commissioner to Sheriff [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD -- Stearns County commissioner Mark Bromenschenkel is looking to get back into law enforcement.

Today (Tuesday) Bromenschenkel put his name in the running for Stearns County Sheriff this fall.

He says he gave running for the position lot of thought.

Bromenschenkel is a former Sartell police sergeant.

He will challenge current Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner, who filed for re-election.

Sanner is looking for his fourth, four-year term.
