ST. CLOUD -- Hundreds of people came out to Halenbeck Hall for the Celebration of Style Wedding Show today - despite the bitterly-cold temperatures.

Those in attendance gathered wedding ideas, sampled cakes and dishes, signed up for door prizes, and even had the opportunity to shoot paint balls at mannequins.

Jesse Tallant, of Bella Rose Photography, has been involved with the event for the past few years. He says the turnout was pretty good considering the frigid weather outside.

"It's kind of cold out, so it's not super [busy] all the time, but it's been nice and steady," Tallant says.

Bella Rose Photography had a booth set up for potential customers to view their work and even dress up in fun costumes for a free photo shoot.

"The goal is to get our name out there - make sure people know we're out there," Tallant says.

Melissa Kelley, owner of J.F. Kruse Jewelers, says the Celebration of Style show gives them a good chance to connect with their potential customers.

"That's part of why we love the event," Kelley says. "It allows us to make connections with people and it's just a real nice space to have a conversation with somebody and get to know them."

"It's really fun for us to be a part of it."
