Boston Tops Timberwolves 104-94

The Timberwolves lost 104-94 in Boston Wednesday night.  Minnesota led 51-47 at halftime but struggled in the 4th quarter.  Kevin Love led the Wolves with 19 points and 13 rebounds, Nikola Pekovic chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds.  Boston was led by Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett with 18 points apiece.

The Wolves are 8-9 and will host Cleveland Friday night at 7pm, pregame on WJON at 6:30.  Point guard Ricky Rubio and forward Andrei Kirilenko are both recovering from injury and could be back as early as Friday night.  Rubio has been practicing with the team since last Friday as he comes back from a torn ACL in his left knee.  Kirilenko has been battling back spasms.
