Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Atonement Lutheran Church, St. Cloud for Bonita “Bonnie” M. Breckenridge, age 85, of St. Cloud who passed away peacefully on Saturday at Country Manor in Sartell. Rev. Erica Kennedy will officiate and burial will be in Summit Cemetery in Morris. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Bonnie was born on September 7, 1930 in Morris, the daughter of George and Alma (Zimmerman) Davidson. She graduated from Morris High School and furthered her education at St. Cloud Teachers College; earning a Teaching Certificate. Bonnie married Earl Breckenridge on July 26, 1952 in Moorhead. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church in St. Cloud; and very involved in church activities, especially preparing for the annual Lefse Sale. Bonnie was a past president of the Women’s Auxiliary American Legion Post 76; and enjoyed volunteering for the annual Poppy Sale. She was also very active in TOPS. Bonnie had a knack for making friends through groups she belonged to. She was an avid knitter, reader, and most importantly loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Vicki (David) Jurek of St. Cloud, Bradley (Nancy) Breckenridge of Severance, CO, Jenifer (James) Drill of Burtrum; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl Breckenridge and sister, Donna Ainsworth.
