Bertha Zulawski, age 97, of Foley, died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Elim Home, Milaca.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, June 12, 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Brennyville. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 Thursday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and one hour prior to the service at the church. Christian Mother's Rosary will be at 6 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Service with Dignity were made by the Foley Funeral Home.

Bertha Zulawski was born April 24, 1918 in Gilmanton Township, Benton Co. to Paul and Mary (Paczkowski) Arkuszewski. She married Enoch Zulawski on November 3, 1943 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. She had lived and farmed with her husband in the Granite Ledge area most all of her life. She attended grade school in Gilman and was a homemaker and farm wife. Bertha enjoyed gardening, mowing lawn with her John Deere tractor, embroidery work and playing cards. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her sons and daughter; Dennis (Patty Vaughan), Bemidji; Art (Linda), Foley; Larry, Foley; Charlene (Henry) Czeck; Foley, grandchildren; Michelle (Myron) Buettner, Foley; Terry (Lindsay) Czeck, Rochester; Sara Czeck, Foley; Brianne (Jason Graham) Zulawski, Foley; Nick Zulawski, Pierz and 3 great grandchildren ; Cole Buettner, Carson Zulawski and Oliver Czeck. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Enoch and sister, Clara Dumonceaux.
