ST. CLOUD -- The Board of Trustees for the Great River Regional Library met tonight to further discuss the "Suzy Citizen" investigation.

Back in May a flier from "Suzy Citizen" was distributed throughout the Great River Regional Library that criticized management decisions.

The board then recruited Twin Cities attorney Michelle Soldo to see if the flier was written by an employee and if library policies were violated.

After interviewing with employees Soldo reached out to Great River attorney Tom Jovanovich to discuss her findings.

The letter states that "it is recommended the Great River Regional Library close the investigation, annually review Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, review and understand their obligation to comply with Data Privacy rules and requirements and continue to monitor any potential disclosure of information and take prompt appropriate disciplinary action for noncompliance."

The board ruled to follow Soldo's recommendations.
