Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rice for Arthur “Art” A. Linn, 96 of Rice who passed away on Saturday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Cloud. Rev. Thomas Becker will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday in Rice. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Arthur Adam Linn was born on December 26, 1918 in St. Cloud to Jacob and Clara (Pierro) Linn. He was united in marriage to Mary Wojtanowicz on August 6, 1949 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rice. He served in the Army during World War II from 1942 – 1946. Art worked at the Creamery in Rice and later in building maintenance at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud for 27 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rice and on the Rice Fire Department. Art enjoyed woodworking, playing cards and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a quiet, easy going man who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his daughters, Mary Lou of Rochester and Carol (Steven) Jacobson of Albany; grandchildren, Jennifer (Drew), Heather (Nick) and Adam; and great grandchildren, Ean, Vienna and Hudson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary in 2012 and sisters, Bertha McCready and Margaret Cripe.

Memorials may be made to Quiet Oaks Hospice House of St. Cloud.
