Arrest in Downtown St. Paul Skyway Assault
ST. PAUL (AP) - St. Paul police say they've made an arrest in an assault in a downtown skyway.
A 23-year-old man was punched in the face and his 59-year-old friend suffered a broken wrist when they were attacked Jan. 19 in the Town Square skyway. The younger man, Thomas Klein, said a group of at least six men wearing red jackets attacked them. Police arrested a 28-year-old St. Paul man.
The skyway assault is part of a string of recent attacks downtown that has police concerned, including those at a light rail platform and at a restaurant.
