COLD SPRING -- Games, food and activities for all ages, this year's Hometown Pride Days in Cold Spring has a little bit of something of everyone.

Rita Hennen is one of the event's coordinators, she says new this year is the Surrey Bike Rides. Saturday, you can take a bike ride on the ROCORI Trail.

While the bike ride is new this year, Hennen says they have many returning favorites.

"Tonight [Friday] we have the belt sander races, which is a big draw, if you haven't been to the belt sander races it sounds kind of bizarre but it's a timed track that people race their belt sanders on."

The popular bar stool races are also slated for Friday night.

"Winner's Bar Stool challenge, that sounds kind of odd too but it's a bar stool that's on a little go-kart engine."

Festivities do continue into Saturday with tours of Third Street Brewhouse, a wing eating contest, cupcake eating contest and several more events.
