Apollo Defeats Cambrdige-Isanti 32-21

The St Cloud Apollo Eagles opened their 2015 season with a 32-21 win over the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets at Husky Stadium on Friday night. Tyler Atkinson has taken over as Quarterback this season and had a big game which included connecting with Peter Nelson for 57 yard dart for a touchdown in the first quarter. He also got a last second grab from Ethan Novacinski with four second remaining in the first half.

Evan Rassier would reach the end zone two times too and Atkinson connected with Novacinski once more for a score late in the fourth quarter. With the win, Apollo is 1-0 and will travel to Brainered on Friday August 28.
