The Angels beat the Twins 4-1 Sunday afternoon to close the 3-game series in Anaheim.  Joel Pineiro threw 7 innings with 1 earned run allowed to get the win for the Angels.  Kevin Slowey allowed 2 earned runs in 7 innings to take the loss for the Twins.  Joe Mauer hit a solo homerun to account for the lone Twins' run.  Jason Kubel added 2 hits for Minnesota.

The Twins fall to 58-81 on the season and lost 2 of 3 against the Angels.  Minnesota hosts the White Sox today in a day-night doubleheader at 1:10 and 7:10.  Hear both games on WJON.
