ST. CLOUD — A national effort to promote personal savings is taking place this week. The effort is part of America Saves Week — which runs now through Saturday. Organizations are using the opportunity to promote good saving practices and preparations for retirement.

The Head of Institutional Retirement at Wells Fargo, Laurie Nordquist, says this is an opportunity for Americans to focus on improving their personal bank accounts.
