ROCHESTER (AP) - A Rochester man could face criminal charges in a high-speed crash that threw two passengers from his vehicle.

Police say the 24-year driver was drinking before he lost control of his car at a high rate of speed, hit a tree and flipped the vehicle Sunday in Rochester. Authorities say the impact ejected one passenger into a yard and another out a rear window and onto the pavement. Both survived, as well as the driver.

The car's engine flew down the street after impact. The crash happened in a residential neighborhood.
