COLLEGEVILLE - The Hill Museum and Manuscript Library at St. John's University has been awarded a $3 million grant.  The money comes from the Arcadia Fund of London.

The award will help the museum and library with their effort to digitize, archive, and catalog newly identified endangered manuscript collections.  Since 2003, teams from the Hill Museum and Manuscript Library have traveled to the Middle East, Ethiopia, India, and Europe.  They are currently working at 15 locations in nine countries.

The Hill Museum and Manuscript Library was founded in 1965.
