ST. CLOUD -- The city of St. Cloud has three major construction projects slated for this summer.

The three projects combined will total about $5-million.

Federal money is being used to help with one project...the University Drive/5th Avenue South intersection where St. Cloud will create its first, newly designed roundabout.

Another project is to re-locate the intersection along Division Street at Crossroads Center called 41st Avenue. Crews will move it to the east and extend 41st Avenue to the south, creating better access to Best Buy and businesses to the south. City Engineer Steve Foss says that project won't get started until after June First.

Finally, 25th Avenue will be widened to a four-lane divided roadway from First Street North to Second Street South.

It's unclear when these projects will start but Foss says they should be letting bids soon.

Municipal State Aid and half-cent sales tax dollars will be used to help pay for all three road improvement projects.
