2 Women Sitting Outside Caribou Coffee Struck By Car

ST. CLOUD - Only minor injuries have been reported after a car ran into two women this (Thursday) morning.

St. Cloud police say the incident happened just before 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of 25th Avenue and Highway 23.

Fifty-year-old Mahad Hersi of St. Cloud was pulling into the Caribou Coffee parking lot, while parking his vehicle he stepped on the accelerator instead of the break, causing him to strike two women sitting outside the business.

The women suffered non life-threatening injuries, and were not taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Hersi was cited for careless driving.
