2 People Hurt In Broadside Crash On Highway 23 In Sauk Rapids

SAUK RAPIDS - Two people were hurt in a broadside crash on Highway 23 in Sauk Rapids.

The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 6:00 p.m. tonight (Monday) at the intersection with County Road 8.

Forty-eight-year-old Kelly Prom of St. Cloud suffered non life-threatening injuries. She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Thirty-five-year-old Mathias Junger of Duluth was also taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Junger was driving his pickup eastbound on Highway 23, while Prom was driving her vehicle north on County Road 8.  The State Patrol says Prom failed to stop at the stop sign and pulled out in front of Junger's vehicle.  Prom's vehicle rolled on its side.
