MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -  Minneapolis police say they're looking for the uncle of a baby who was struck by gunfire and critically injured.

Authorities say the uncle, a juvenile, accidentally shot a gun inside a north side house Thursday night and a bullet struck the 2-month-old boy. The baby remains in critical condition Friday at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Investigators say they were initially told the baby was struck by a bullet while outside the house in the arms of his father. But, detectives say they later learned the juvenile male fired the gun inside and then fled the scene. Police believe it was an accidental shooting.

Authorities say they are only looking for the boy and no other suspects.
