2 Hurt In Golf Cart Rollover In Western Stearns County

CROW LAKE TOWNSHIP - Two people were hurt when the golf cart they were riding in rolled.  The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened at about 3:15 p.m. today (Sunday) on Colfax Road Northeast in Crow Lake Township.

Thirty-six-year-old Timothy Schoumaker of St. Cloud was driving a homemade golf cart when it broke causing it to go out of control.

A passenger on the cart was 30-year-old Krista Schroendeman of St. Cloud.

Both were ejected from the golf cart. The golf cart did not have seat belts.  And, they were not wearing helmets.

Both were taken to the Paynesville Hospital.
