UPDATE: Victims Of Fatal House Fire Were Mother, Son

HELGA TOWNSHIP, (AP) - The victims of a house fire in Hubbard County are a mother and her adult son.

Relatives say 79-year-old Phyllis Kleeb and her 56-year-old son, Frank Kleeb, died in the fire in Helga Township Tuesday night. The woman's sister-in-law, Marcia Kleeb, says a neighbor noticed the fire about 7:30 p.m. and called firefighters.

Cass Lake, Lakeport and Bemidji fire departments were on the scene for about eight hours. The cause of the fire, which destroyed the house, is under investigation.
