STAR PRAIRIE, Wis. (AP) — A nearly 15-hour search for an armed 14-year-old boy wanted in Wisconsin has come to an end in eastern Minnesota.

The teen is a suspect in the theft of two cars, a home burglary and high-speed chase in western Wisconsin Monday. Authorities say the boy was armed with a handgun when he attempted a burglary at a home in the Woodville area of St. Croix County. He also led law enforcement officers on a chase after he was spotted in New Richmond.

Police say the 14-year-old crashed his vehicle about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lake, Minnesota while he was being chased. He was arrested and taken to Fairview Wyoming Hospital for treatment and will be transferred to the Anoka County Regional Juvenile Center.
