Costs for Occupy MN Protest Starting to Mount [AUDIO]

MINNEAPOLIS – The Occupy Minnesota protesters have been rallying in downtown Minneapolis for nearly a month now, and the costs are starting to add-up.
Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek was on WJON with Bob Hughes this (Wednesday) morning. He says the cost for just his department are well over $200,000. The money is coming out of their general fund.
Stanek says the good news is, for the most part, the protesters have been cooperating and have been peaceful.

Stanek says they meet with the organizers on a daily basis, which has helped prevent the violence and arrests that have happened at similar protests in Oakland, New York and other cities.
