St. Cloud State University's revamped "homecoming" celebration is tomorrow (Saturday). Celebrate! St. Cloud State starts at 1:30 p.m. with a pre-game party at Husky Stadium. The band Diamondback will perform, with food provided by Famous Dave's.

St. Cloud State University officials may have abolished Homecoming weekend, but that's not stopping the downtown bars from celebrating. Dan Wedin is the President of the St. Cloud Hospitality Association. He says they're hosting their own "Homecoming weekend" on Saturday, October 8th.

St. Cloud State University's Homecoming weekend has been a tradition for many years. And for some, that tradition included getting up early, and heading to the bars for a full day of drinking known as "kegs and eggs". SCSU President Earl Potter says it was a reputation that he wasn't particularly proud of.
