SARTELL -- Granite Logistics in Sartell held an open house event to show off their brand new headquaters that they moved into earlier this month.

The building, located at 705 23rd St. S in Sartell, opened on June 1st after breaking ground just eight months earlier and was designed by St. Cloud-based Negen Architects.

Pat Lynch, President of Granite Logistics, says the new building is a major upgrade over their previous headquarters.

"There's definitely a 'wow factor' to the new space," says Lynch.

"We moved in from about 4,100 square feet [at our old building] and we've got about 13,200 square feet here."

The open house event invited the public out for food and a tour and Lynch says the new building was met with a positive reception.

"The location is really fantastic and we've got some great views of pond and nature area out back," Lynch says.

"People love it...we love it -- it's really nice."

Granite Logistics was founded in 2011 as an agent for Trinity Logistics out of Delaware. The company currently employs 48 people but the space at the new building will allow growth up to about 120 people in Sartell.
