UNDATED - Colder and snowier than normal -- that's what the Old Farmers Almanac is predicting for us for this winter.

Mary Ann Jarvala spoke with Dick Nelson on WJON this (Tuesday) afternoon.  She says Minnesota will be especially cold in February, and especially snowy early in the winter.

The Old Farmers Almanac is very unscientific, but they have been predicting the weather for 220 years, and they claim an 82% accuracy rate.

Their 2012 edition is on magazine racks now.
