ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud VA officially opened their new Dental Clinic this (Monday) morning.

The VA held a ribbon cutting ceremony to dedicate the facility, even though they have been in operation since construction began two years ago.

Dr. Jeffery Uhl is the Chief of Dental Services at the St. Cloud VA. He says the facility will allow the staff to serve more Veterans and meet the increasing needs for dental services.

The expansion includes seven more dental chairs (bringing the total to 18), a new reception area, and a new oral surgery room.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar spoke at today's ceremony.

Bachmann says she is proud of the work the VA continues to do to give our veterans the services they deserve.

Klobuchar says the expansion was a collective effort and to see it complete makes all the hard work worth it.

Uhl says he is so thankful to his staff and the VA organization for going above and beyond to make sure our Veterans are taken care of.
