ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud South Junior High was in a brief containment Monday afternoon after a medical call.

District 742 spokeswoman Tami DeLand says the call involved one student at the school and an ambulance was dispatched to the scene as a medical emergency.

DeLand says the containment was ordered to keep students sequestered in their classrooms and allow for unimpeded access by medical personnel.

DeLand says students were never in harm's way and there was no cause for concern other than the health of the one student who needed medical attention.

The containment lasted approximately 10 minutes and the scene was cleared by 2:30 p.m.
