HOLDING TOWNSHIP - Someone was playing a dangerous prank early this (Tuesday) morning.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department got a report about 2:00 a.m. of large hay bales blocking the road on 155th Avenue, south of County Road 17 in Holding Township.  Deputies found three large round bales completely blocking the road.  They also found corn stalks covering the road.

The deputies removed the bales, but about 2 1/2 hours later they got another call that the bales were back on the road, but this time they were on fire.

They also got another call at 6:30 a.m. of a hay bale on fire on St. Anna Drive.

The Sheriff's Office is looking for information on the people that are responsible, you can either call 251-4240, or Tri-County CrimeStoppers.
