CALEDONIA, Minn. (AP) - Authorities say a 50-year-old man was severely burned when a meth lab exploded in southeastern Minnesota.

Houston County Sheriff Doug Ely says officers responded Sunday afternoon and learned the man was seeking medical treatment in La Crosse, Wis.

Ely says the victim was taken to a burn center for treatment. The man's name was not released.

Reports say a search warrant was executed and evidence recovered consistent with an active meth lab.

The sheriff says his office will not release more details until the investigation is complete.
