ONAMIA - Grand Casino Mille Lacs is investigating a data breach. On September 15th they learned some payment cards had been used at the Onamia location for fraudulent transactions.

It's believed that the suspect used malware to access certain payment card transactions that were made between April 24th and October 9th.  The information that may have been accessed includes customers' names, payment card numbers and card expiration dates.  The incident is limited to about 1,600 card transactions.  So far, they have no evidence that any additional cards are at risk.

Grand Casino Mille Lacs has posted a website notice detailing steps that you can take to protect yourself.  Customers that used a credit or debit card at Grand Casino Mille Lacs between April 24th and October 9th, and see a fraudulent charge on their card, should immediately contact the bank, credit union or other financial institution that issued the card.  They've also established a toll-free number (866-328-1987) that you an use to ask questions.
