Funeral For Boy Accidentally Shot In Head
BLUFFTON (AP) - A funeral service will be held Thursday for the 14-year-old boy who authorities say died from an accidental gunshot wound in Otter Tail County.
Sheriff's officials say Levi Roggenkamp was playing with a revolver at his home near Wadena last Thursday when the gun went off and shot him in the head. Family members say Levi died on Friday at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
Counselors are helping Levi's classmates deal with his death in the New York Mills school district. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at the Bluffton Community Center. A funeral mass will be held Thursday afternoon at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Bluffton.
