Dorothy Gale Tinglov, age 92, St. Cloud, MN died Monday, February 2, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Church Columbarium. Arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Dorothy was born August 11, 1922 in Paynesville, MN to James and Ida (Langerud) Gale. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Paynesville, MN. Dorothy married Karl Berger Tinglov on September 17, 1948 in Sioux Falls, SD. She was a bookkeeper for Ideal Granite Company and then was a Library Assistant for the Kimball School District until she retired in 1991. Dorothy was a loving and generous women who was an avid bridge player and sports enthusiast. Family and church were very important to her. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, St. Cloud, MN.

Survivors include son and daughters, Thomas Tinglov of Lakeville, MN; Gale Tinglov of St. Cloud, MN; Karin Tinglov of New Brighton, MN; four grandchildren, Erin (Patrick) Scapanski, David Ranta, Nick Tinglov, Mallory Tinglov and three great grandchildren, Evan, Andrew and Alex Scapanski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Berger on February 25, 1987, two sisters and two brothers.

Memorials are preferred to St. John’s Episcopal Church.
