The Minnesota Timberwolves finally got their record above the .500 mark Wednesday night with an 88-77 win over the New Orleans Pelicans at Target Center. The Timberwolves are now 23-22 on the season, the first time they have been above even since late November.

Kevin Love scored 30 points on 11-26 shooting while pulling down 14 rebounds and dishing out five assists to lead the Timberwolves. Kevin Martin scored 18 points for Minnesota.

Al-Farouq Aminu led the Pelicans with 18 points on 8-13 shooting.

The Wolves now trail Dallas by two games for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
