The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Miami Heat 116-109 at Target Center Sunday night in the Wolves' home opener. The win improves Minnesota to 3-0 on the season.

Andrew Wiggins led Minnesota with 25 points, including a handful of three-pointers down the stretch, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 23 points and 11 rebounds.

The Timberwolves will get a couple of days off before taking on the 76ers in Philadelphia Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. on AM 1240, WJON.
