ST. CLOUD -- A windmill at the St. Cloud V-A Medical Center is up and running after replacement blades arrived recently.

The project was delayed after a crack was discovered on one of the turbine blades.

V-A spokesman Barry Venable says the 290-foot-tall wind turbine will produce 660-kilowatts of power and will provide up to 16% of the V-A's electricity.

It will save an estimated $98,000 per year in energy costs.
