Weather Announcements for Tuesday, August 27th, 2013

We have some weather related announcements for today (Tuesday), August 27th, due to the extreme heat:

-- The Sauk Rapids-Rice youth football practice for grades 3-6 has been cancelled for today (Tuesday).

-- Sartell Area Youth Football has canceled practice for grades 3-6 today due to the extreme heat.  A decision on Thursday's practice will be made as soon as possible.

-- The St. Cloud Cathedral versus Annandale volleyball match tonight (Tuesday) has been moved from Cathedral to Annandale, because Annandale has air conditioning in their gym.

-- St. Cloud Cathedral boys and girls soccer games versus Alexandria are postponed today (Tuesday).

-- Sartell-St. Stephen sports scheduled for today (Tuesday) have been postponed, including: boys and girls soccer at Brainerd, girls tennis versus Tech, and volleyball versus Moorhead.

Events for Wednesday, August 28th:
-- St. Cloud Cathedral is pushing back the game times for Boys Soccer game tomorrow (Wednesday) at Orono. The JV will play at 6:30 p.m. and the Varsity will play at 7:00 p.m. The bus will leave Cathedral at 4:15 p.m.
