Vehicle Leaves Road, Strikes a Home

MAINE PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP - A vehicle left the road and struck a house last (Wednesday) night.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. in Maine Prairie Township.

Fifty-two year old Kyle Christensen of Kimball lost control of his vehicle on County Road 147, it went into the north ditch, then struck the home, causing minor damage.  The house was occupied, but no one was hurt.

Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the incident.
