Two Hurt in Highway 55 Crash

BUFFALO -- Two people suffered minor injuries after a crash on Highway 55 in Buffalo Thursday afternoon.

The State Patrol says 46-year-old Leah Pyykkonen of Buffalo was eastbound on Highway 55 and was making a left turn on to Wright County Road 34 when she was hit by a westbound truck.

Both drivers had a green light, but authorities say Pyykkonen failed to yield and was struck broadside.

The driver of the truck was 59-year-old Gregory McBroom of Princeton.

Neither driver was seriously hurt.
