The Twins lost their 5th straight game Tuesday night 3-0 to the Chicago White Sox.  Rookie Liam Hendriks from Perth, Australia allowed 4 hits and 3 earned runs in 7 innings to take the loss in his major league debut.  Jake Peavy allowed 4 hits and no runs in 6 1/3 innings to get the win for Chicago.  Trevor Plouffe and Chris Parmelee were each 2-4 for the Twins.

Both first baseman Parmelee and outfielder Joe Benson were recalled from double-A New Britain prior to the game and made their major league debuts.  Benson was hitting .285 with 16 homeruns and 67 RBIs and Parmelee was hitting .287 with 13 homeruns and 83 RBIs for double-A New Britain.

The Twins host the White Sox in the final game of the 3-game series tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Carl Pavano (7-11) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and lefthander John Danks (6-10) toes the rubber for the White Sox.
