The Twins have come to an agreement on a 2-year contract with 37-year old middle infielder Jamey Carroll.  The deal is reportedly worth $2 Million and has an option for a 3rd year.  Carroll can play both 2nd base and shortstop and has played plenty of 3rd base and outfield in the major leagues too.

He hit .290 with no homeruns and 17 RBIs with a .359 on base percentage in 146 games with the L.A. Dodgers in 2011.
