The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a four game losing streak with a 117-90 win over the Denver Nuggets at Target Center Wednesday night. The Timberwolves enter the All Star break with a record of 25-28 overall.

Minnesota led Denver 61-41 at the half and never looked back. Kevin Love narrowly missed a triple-double for the Wolves with 32 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.  Corey Brewer was 9-14 from the floor for 22 points, and JJ Barea was a perfect 8-8 off the bench for 18 points.

The Timberwolves gain a half game in the standings with the win and trail Golden State by six games for the eighth spot in the Western Conference.

Minnesota’s next game is scheduled for February 19 against Indiana at Target Center.
