Thieves Hit Hutchinson Auto Dealer

HUTCHINSON - Thieves hit a Hutchinson auto dealer this past weekend, stealing most-likely tens-of-thousands of dollars worth of wheels and tires from new vehicles on the lot.

Hutchinson Police say 15 vehicles were blocked up with landscaping pavers at Valley Sales on Highway 7 East sometime early Sunday morning. A total of 60 wheels and tires were taken.

Police say a citizen driving by noticed some missing wheels and reported it at about 6am.

An exact estimate of loss isn't available yet, as the investigation continues.

Authorities say several similar crimes have been reported in the area recently, as well as in St. Cloud and the Metro Area.
