A beloved youth baseball shed is gone, but the community's spirit is shining bright as they rally to support the team after a shocking fire.

The Albany Diamond Dawgs 14U tournament team went 6-0-1 on the weekend to take home the Minnesota Baseball Tournaments 14AA State Championship. After going 2-0-1 in pool play, the Dawgs went on to beat Hudson 9-2, St. Paul Highland 4-0, Caledonia 6-3 and the Burnsville Blaze 14-4 in bracket play.

The St. Cloud Blue Sox 15U youth baseball team has been on a roll in June. The weekend of the 9th thru 11th they were in Fargo at the Liam G Medd Tournament and compiled 4 wins on the way to the championship.

With youth baseball numbers continuing the grow, The Sartell Baseball Association is adding two new ball fields to Pinecone Central Park.

outh baseball is in full swing in Waite Park this weekend as 11 teams compete in the Cal Ripken 12-and-under state tournament at River's Edge Park. Joe Hemmesch is the coach of the Waite Park 12AA team. He says the tournament is all about kids having fun.

The St. Cloud Blue Sox youth baseball organization is hosting the Gopher State Spring invitational which will take place Saturday and Sunday in St. Cloud at Whitney Fields.

The St. Cloud Blue Sox youth baseball tryouts will take place at Whitney Fields Sunday September 23 through Tuesday September 25. The tryouts will be under the lights at Whitney Field #C2. The age groups vary in age from 10 and under to 15 and under. The schedule is as follows.
